Because group travel insurance covered everyone in your party it is worth asking your travel insurance what would happen if one person in the group cancels their holiday. Check all your existing policies to see if you are already covered, it will not be worth having extra travel insurance if you are already covered.

Although travel insurance may seem pointless and another expenditure you simply do not want to pay out for in the long run the peace of mind and the cover you will have will mean you can enjoy your holiday knowing that your travel insurance will be protecting you. Buying your travel insurance can reduce the cost considerably as the travel insurance company will have less overheads so will be able to offer you a cheaper deal.
